Crawler

How the crawler works

The crawler starts at your domain and follows all internal links. It respects your website's robots.txt and crawls up to several thousand pages per scan. Every page found is stored and uniquely identified via a content hash.

On the next scan, nanoSEO compares the content hash of each page. Only pages whose content has actually changed are re-analyzed. This keeps costs manageable even for large websites.

The analysis runs in batches: several pages are sent to the AI together and evaluated in a single response. The result is stored as a structured report with scores and findings.

Security & privacy

Your data is processed exclusively in European data centers. The AI analysis also runs on models hosted in Europe and is therefore fully GDPR-compliant.

We only store the data necessary to analyze your website. Payment data is processed exclusively via Stripe and not stored by us.
